Music Photography | My Journey
In 2006, I started shooting live music as a fan, front row for my favorite band: INXS. From there, I took my camera, an Olympus point & shoot, to every show it was allowed. Along the way, I was asked to shoot certain shows, volunteered for charity festivals, and eventually started getting on the list to shoot shows, first through personal contacts with artists and eventually requesting official credentials via PR representatives for larger bands and artists.
Seattle is a great town to take in music, shoot indie bands, and is visited by some of the most popular bands and artists. My journey began via my love for music, it continues as I pursue that love via my passion for capturing the extreme elements in live music photography: the light, the action, the craziness, the art, the sheer joy…
I currently shoot Canon bodies (Rebel XTi & 5d) and the fastest glass I can get my hands on.
